Technical Salesforce Specialist
๐ด Why join Thynk?
Founded by a team of experienced SaaS founders and hospitality executives, Thynk is on a mission to revolutionize the 2T$ hospitality industry and become a new vertical SaaS giant. Our ambition is fuelled by a fantastic product built on top of the Salesforce platform and a spot on time to market.
We raised a 13M$ Series A from high-profile VCs (NY+EU) to scale our operations and expand to the US. Your role is key at our stage to make sure we scale the right way, it is an opportunity to have a big impact on the company.
Our customers are all over the world and so are we, with team members from 25 nationalities, based on 3 continents and 6 time zones - building a strong common culture while respecting the individual constraints of everyone in our remote-first environment.
Thynk is also going through a deep AI transformation โ we are rebuilding how our internal teams work, from sales to delivery, around AI tooling (Claude, Cowork, Code). Joining us today means being on the inside of that shift.
By joining the Thynk Team, you will recognize yourself in our values:
Ambition - We think big and act boldly. Weโre organized to move fast, scale quickly and set industry standards.
Care - We believe in the power of being surrounded by a diverse international team of all-stars, who are caring about each other and our customers. We prioritize balance and wellbeing.
Innovation - We look at the big picture to develop new solutions never done before. We believe in asking questions, challenging, and rarely taking no for an answer. We encourage our customers to do the same, and partner with them to bring forth this change.
Service - We develop services for people whose businesses are, above all, about quality of service. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and our technology is simply a means of helping them deliver exceptional service to their customers.
๐ฃ About the role
We are on a mission to revolutionize the $2T hospitality industry and to become a new vertical SaaS giant. As a rapidly growing SaaS company with high-performance teams and a collaborative culture, this position is vital to Thynkโs success.
Our Professional Services team is scaling alongside our US expansion. We are hiring a Salesforce Specialist based in India, working a US-coverage shift, to deliver hands-on configuration and data work for our American customers โ and to give our EU-based PS team clean, same-day hand-offs.
You will join the Professional Services organization led by Nicolas Arfouilloux (VP Delivery & CS), reporting directly to Maud, our SF Specialist Team Lead. You will work alongside a fully remote team of Implementation Leads, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success Manager, supporting customers from boutique hotel groups to global hospitality chains.
Our product is a vertical SaaS suite built natively on the Salesforce Platform. As a Salesforce Specialist you will work hands-on with the Thynk managed package across customer orgs โ configuring modules, manipulating data, and supporting customers and the internal team through every phase of implementation and post-go-live.
Your ramp-up project: AI-driven document migrationYour first major mission will be a structural migration project for our customer base: moving from PDFButler custom template documents to the Thynk-native e-proposal and document generator. You will use Claude (Cowork and Code), our internal AI tooling, and lightweight scripting to parse legacy templates, map them to the new system, and re-generate them at scale. This is high-leverage, AI-augmented work โ and it sets the tone for how the rest of your role will look at Thynk.
Beyond the ramp-up, AI is now embedded in our way of working โ from configuration scaffolding to data inspection, from documentation to customer artifacts. You will be expected to use AI tooling daily, build small assistants and scripts as needed, and contribute to making our Professional Services team measurably faster.
๐งโ๐ป As our Salesforce Specialist at Thynk, you will:
Contribute as an individual contributor in a strong, fully remote team and be a team player in a highly collaborative environment. You will be responsible for:
Configuring the Thynk product on customer Salesforce orgs: page layouts, permission sets, validation rules, custom fields and objects, record types, list views, Flow Builder automations, reports and dashboards โ using Salesforce declarative tools.
Performing data manipulation and migration tasks: data loading, cleansing, deduplication, and ETL of customer data via Data Loader, Workbench and similar tools; building SOQL queries to inspect, validate and report on records.
Driving AI-augmented migrations and document workflows โ starting with the PDFButler โ Thynk e-proposal & document generator transition across customer accounts, using Claude (Cowork, Code) and scripting to parse, map, and regenerate templates at scale.
Building lightweight internal tooling and AI assistants to accelerate recurring PS work: prompts, agents, small scripts, evaluation harnesses. Treat AI as a co-worker, not a feature.
Supporting and running technical workshops, UAT cycles, and configuration reviews with customers in English โ bridging the gap between business requirements and Salesforce implementation.
Troubleshooting customer issues during implementation and post-go-live, working closely with Implementation Leads, Customer Success Managers and the Engineering team.
Documenting configuration decisions, customer-specific setups, and reusable AI prompts / scripts in our internal knowledge base (Notion + Salesforce documentation).
Operating in a US-shift schedule from India to give our American customers same-day support and to hand off cleanly to the EU-based team each morning.
Continuously improving how we deliver: spotting recurring patterns, productizing them with AI, and contributing to our PS playbook.
๐ญ About you
You will be a great fit if:
You have 3 to 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience (admin/configurator/consultant), with production work you can describe in detail.
You are Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) โ or actively pursuing it. Platform App Builder is a plus.
You are fluent in Salesforce declarative tools: Flow Builder, validation rules, permission sets, page layouts, record types, custom objects, reports & dashboards.
You can read Apex, understand triggers and SOQL queries, and debug from logs and error messages.
You are comfortable with bulk data operations (Data Loader, Workbench, SOQL) and you take data quality seriously.
You are AI-curious and AI-active: you already use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot or similar in your daily work โ or you are visibly eager to do so. You are comfortable writing prompts, iterating, evaluating outputs, and scripting around LLMs (Python, JS, or shell) to get useful work done.
You communicate clearly in English (written and spoken) and can hold a technical conversation with a non-technical customer.
You are based in India and willing to work shifted hours to cover US time zones (typically ~4pm to 0am IST), 5 days a week, on a permanent basis.
You operate well in a remote, async, multi-cultural environment.
Bonus points if you have:
Hands-on experience building with LLMs: writing agents, designing prompts at scale, evaluating outputs, or scripting AI workflows in production.
Experience implementing or supporting a Salesforce-based ISV / managed package.
Experience with document generation tools (PDFButler, Conga, Docusign Gen, Nintex Drawloop, etc.) or e-signature platforms.
Exposure to the hospitality, travel, or events industry.
Familiarity with integrations: Salesforce APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Workato, Zapier), or REST API consumption.
Advanced Salesforce certifications (Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
Basic Apex or LWC development experience.
This job is made for you if you like: getting hands deep into customer configurations, solving puzzles with data, treating AI as a power tool rather than a buzzword, and seeing the direct impact of your work on a customer going live. You enjoy a fast-moving, no-bureaucracy environment, and you like being the technical person customers trust when something needs to be figured out.
This job is not for you if youโre not: comfortable owning your time and deliverables without micro-management, ready to work shifted hours consistently, eager to learn a vertical (hospitality) that goes beyond just Salesforce, or sceptical that AI will be part of your daily toolkit.
